So Art Basel HK has officially started and last night the festivities kicked off with many of the galleries around town opening their doors for cocktails and invitation-only viewings.
At the same time, the streets of Central were packed with glamorously dressed women wearing sky high heels holding oversized clutches while the men looked dapper and stylish. To tell you the truth, Queen's Road Central looked more like a scene out of New York fashion week than a typical night in Hong Kong.

A Sojourn in Paris and All Things "Baccarat" - 11, Place des Etats-Unis, 75016

Next Stop...Down South!
After leaving the beautiful tealands and surrounds of Kandy, we headed south to Galle and the Galle Fort.
The Galle Fort was originally built by the Portuguese and further developed by the Dutch beginning in 1663 - it has now been recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Galle was also the main port for Sri Lanka for over 200 years.

Tea Time in Ceylon
This month we travelled to Sri Lanka for creative inspiration. Our trip took us from the tea plantations of Kandy to the UNESCO world heritage site of the Galle fort.
Arriving in Sri Lanka reminded us of being whisked away back in time more than 60 years ago, before WWII and during the time of colonialists.
